Engagement with industry

The South Australian Skills Commission will play a proactive role in initiating and advocating for changes in the skills system, to meet current and future industry workforce needs.

Industry engagement will be critical to our ability to forecast these needs, and to clearly assess our strategic priorities over the next five years.

For this reason, the Skills Commission has a team of staff committed to industry engagement activities and our approach to engaging with representatives from across the skills system – will be the focus of our efforts early on.

We will be building on the work of the Training and Skills Commission and our relationships with Industry Skills Councils, who will continue to provide advice about needs across various industry sectors.
