We are delighted to announce the introduction of a new state-base Award, The Excellence in Diversity Award. This new Award provides organisations delivering accredited and non-accredited training, the opportunity to demonstrate their outstanding commitment to supporting students and/or employees in overcoming significant barriers or disadvantage to effectively participate in vocational education and training (VET).
In 2023, we will once again celebrate and acknowledge the achievements of our best and most outstanding students, trainers, training providers, schools, and employers. The awards also deliver a range of activities and initiatives designed to highlight the increasing opportunities available to trainees and apprentices in South Australia.
This year-long program - presented by the South Australian Skills Commission - will showcase VET as a pathway of choice for the state’s current and future workforce.
There are 13 awards categories - six for individuals and seven for organisations. In addition, the Voters’ Choice Award which is presented to the public’s favourite individual finalist.
