As part of our commitment to continuous improvements, we have transitioned from ATLAS to mySkillsSA. This upgrade is designed to enhance system functionality, streamline communication, and improve overall efficiency in training contract management.

On 5 August 2025, mySkillsSA went live for employers, training providers and Apprentice Connect Australia Providers.
Trainees and apprentices can now also access mySkillsSA to manage their traineeship or apprenticeship.
As part of the roll out of mySkillsSA, the previous system, ATLAS was decommissioned.
To support you in signing up to mySkillsSA we’ve put together a list of frequently asked questions for employers, providers, apprentices and trainees.
Employers of trainees and apprentices
If you’re exploring registering as a new employer of trainees or apprentices you can sign up today using your ABN details. You will need to complete an employer registration application with the South Australian Skills Commission.
Employer registration
Already registered as an employer? If your organisation had an admin user in ATLAS, that person would become your admin in mySkillsSA and can sign up and manage users for your organisation. Anyone who had access to ATLAS should also have access to mySkillsSA, provided their email address was correct in ATLAS.
If your organisation does not have an active admin user, you can request access to mySkillsSA.
*Please note: Requests for administrator-level access are subject to a verification process. To protect your organisation's information, we may need to confirm your authority with the authorised contact listed for your business on the Australian Business Register (ABR) or request written approval before access can be granted. Delays may occur if we are unable to verify or obtain approval for the request.
Trainees and apprentices
New or existing trainees or apprentices can sign up to mySkillsSA using the email they provided when creating their training contract.
Parents or guardians of learners under 18 can also create a mySkillsSA account.
Training providers and Apprentice Connect Australia Providers
If someone within your organisation requires access, your admin user can provide access. If you’re not sure who the admin user is for your organisation, contact the South Australian Skills Commission.
The South Australian Skills Commission is transitioning to a fully digital approach for managing apprenticeship and traineeship training contracts through mySkillsSA. The platform provides employers, learners, parent/guardians, Apprentice Connect Australia Providers (ACAPs) and nominated training organisations with greater visibility, efficiency and transparency when managing training contract activities. Paper-based applications will continue to be accepted until 31 December 2026. From 1 January 2027, applications submitted by email or post will no longer be accepted, and parties will be directed to complete their requests through mySkillsSA. All stakeholders are encouraged to register for mySkillsSA and begin using the platform now to support a smooth transition to digital training contract management.
