South Australian Skills Regulations 2021 and South Australian Skills Standards

Changes to the nature of work and the tools and technologies used in the workplace are rapidly transforming how businesses operate.

On 1 July 2021, the South Australian Skills Act (SAS Act) came into operation, along with the South Australian Skills Regulations 2021 and the South Australian Skills Standards.

The Regulations and Standards:

• provide a contemporary framework for skills and workforce development
• implement changes under the SAS Act
• outline the role and responsibilities of the South Australian Skills Commission
• better support growth of future industries, workforce changes, and the impact of automation and digitisation.
