South Australian Skills Regulations and Standards

Changes to tools, technologies and the nature of work are rapidly transforming how businesses operate.

The South Australian Skills Act (SAS Act) came into operation on 1 July 2021, along with the South Australian Skills Regulations and Skills Standards.

The Regulations and Standards:

  • implement changes under the SAS Act
  • outline the role and responsibilities of the South Australian Skills Commission
  • better support growth of future industries, workforce changes, and the impact of automation and digitisation.
