Tatiara Truck & Trailers Pty Ltd

Established 40 years ago, Tatiara Truck & Trailers is a family owned and run business that prides itself on a number plate to number plate service for on-highway, farming trucks and trailers, with Kenworth a major franchise.

A strong legacy of quality staff training started with the first apprentice in 1995, successfully completing his diesel mechanic apprenticeship in 1999.

In 2007, the company built an onsite training room, assisted through government funding.

The vision was to bring social justice to those disadvantaged in relation to their metropolitan counterparts.

The many who have received quality training at Tatiara Truck & Trailers have become assets to the business, the industry and the wider community.

La Strand Hair and Body

La Strand Hair and Body focuses on providing an affordable salon experience.

Starting as a home salon in 2017, the business now employs 11 staff, including four apprentices.

La Strand strongly believes in investing in apprentices and young talent to keep the industry fruitful. They demonstrate this by providing an apprentice lead and in-salon training time to fast track their development alongside trade school requirements.

The role of the apprentice lead is dedicated to training and supporting apprentices from start to finish.

They support anyone who struggles throughout their training, and they believe you do not need to be great at reading and writing to become an amazing, talented hairdresser!
