Playford International College

VET Innovation for Schools

Playford International College offers a comprehensive curriculum that caters for a wide range of interests and abilities. A focus on digital literacy equips students to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Every student is given the opportunity to excel.

Playford’s recent Roads2Civil program, designed exclusively for Aboriginal-identified students, provided tailored support and resources for students working towards a civil construction qualification at Civil Train SA’s purpose-built Burton training facility, where students learnt to operate equipment, prepare sites, and follow industry protocols. The program was effective in supporting a wide range of learners, particularly those at risk of disengagement, by offering pathways that led directly to employment or further training.

Playford programs and initiatives encourage students to develop a sense of social responsibility and contribute positively to society. The college’s inclusive and supportive environment fosters a sense of cultural identity and belonging, and encourages students to embrace diversity and community connection.
