MTA Training and Employment, the Motor Trade Association SA/NT’s registered training organisation, delivers industry-led automotive training across South Australia.
Supporting more than 1,400 enrolled students and over 1,000 apprentices, the organisation works closely with industry to ensure training remains practical, relevant and aligned with evolving workforce needs.
An Automotive Mentor Program provides targeted support to apprentices facing personal, financial or workplace challenges. By focusing on retention and wellbeing, the program helps apprentices remain engaged and successfully progress through their training.
MTA Training and Employment also leads future-focused skills development through electric vehicle training and innovative dual trade apprenticeship pathways that combine mechanical and automotive electrical qualifications.
As a not-for-profit organisation accountable to more than 1,300 members, all revenue is reinvested into training, facilities and industry capability. Through strong industry partnerships, student support and innovative delivery models, MTA Training and Employment is helping build a skilled and adaptable automotive workforce for the future.
