Large Training Provider of the Year

2026 South Australian Training Award Winner

Australian Nursing & Midwifery Federation (SA Branch)

The Australian Nursing & Midwifery Federation (SA Branch), through its industry-based training organisation Australian Nursing and Midwifery Education Centre (ANMEC), delivers high-quality vocational education across the health, aged care and disability sectors. With educators who are practising clinicians and strong industry partnerships, training is closely aligned to real-world workforce needs.

Known for its innovative and immersive training model, ANMEC uses professional actors in simulated clinical environments, AI-enabled avatar technology to support communication and language practice, and contemporary simulation facilities that help prepare job-ready graduates. These innovations recognise that diverse learners require more than traditional teaching methods to succeed.

Committed to inclusive, student-centred learning, ANMEC provides tailored support services that contribute to consistently high completion rates of around 90 per cent and strong employment outcomes.

Through collaboration with health, aged care and community partners, the organisation is helping build a skilled, confident workforce ready to meet the evolving needs of Australia’s care sector.
