About Eudunda Area School

As a regional school of less than 200 students, Eudunda Area School provides a safe and inclusive learning environment that strives to foster a positive and productive mindset through its values: Commitment, Understanding, Respect, Integrity, Responsibility and Friendship.

Building on VET initiatives over the past two decades, their school-based café, EASpresso represents a truly innovative and successful initiative.

Students involved with EASpresso develop lifelong skills to transfer into the job market, and industry-specific skills for the food and hospitality sector, while practicing enterprise and employability skills to take into the future.

As a sustainable initiative EASpresso will continue as an avenue for students to gain industry recognised skills that lead to further training and employment.

This award recognises excellence in schools that are developing innovative and new mechanisms for encouraging VET pathways in their schools so that their models and programs can be publicised and shared with schools across the state.
